Did you get a new T-mobile Sidekick for Christmas? If so, lucky you. Welcome to the world of sidekick users.

Want to keep it looking new? Protect it from Damage? That's a great idea. Sidekick phones are expensive, so a little prevention now will save you in the long run.

The number 1 item that I get asked about on www.fixmysidekick.com is the LCD Screen. The new higher resolution screens on the sidekick LX and Sidekick 2008 look gorgeous, but are susceptible to scratching and cracking. For this, I suggest the invisibleSHIELD
from Zagg.

This will protect your screen from getting scratched and will provide some protection from cracking.

You still need to be careful with your Sidekick. Don't sit on it, try not to drop it, and don't leave it out in extreme tempatures.

For the Sidekick LX, lcd screens run about 100 dollars to replace if you do it yourself.

For the Sidekick 2008, there are none readily available at the moment. It will probably be a few more onths before they come to the market. So if the LCD Screen on your new sidekick 2008 cracks or breaks, the phone will be pretty much useless until then.

Sorry to be kind of a downer here, but I just wanted to make you all aware of the importance of protecting your Sidekick LCD screens.
